Sofia Dias & V\u00edtor Roriz are a pair of choreographers and dancers who collaborates since 2006 in the research and creation of various performances presented in more than 17 countries. Since the beginning of their collaboration, they have had the support of several Portuguese cultural structures, of which stand out the Bomba Suicida (2006-2009), O Espa\u00e7o do Tempo (associated artists 2009-2016) and Materiais Diversos (associated artists 2012-2016). They have had the support of some European networks, such as Looping, TRANSFER, Open Latitudes, Modul Dance, ONDA and D\u00e9parts.
\nHis show \u201cUm gesto que n\u00e3o passa de uma amea\u00e7a\u201d from 2011 was awarded the European prize for emerging Choreography – Jardin d’Europe and won the first place at Aerowaves Spring Forward, 2013.
\nAs a duo they collaborated with several artists such as Catarina Dias, Lara Torres, Marco Martins, Clara Andermatt, Mark Tompkins and since 2014 they present Ant\u00f3nio and Cle\u00f3patra by Tiago Rodrigues and Sopro (2017) by the same director.
\nThey regularly teach classes and workshops and organize residencies and reflection meetings between artists in different contexts.
