MD ❦ Grand Studio

Materiais Diversos and Grand Studio have maintained, since 2016, a partnership dedicated to the exchange of artistic residencies, fostering circulation and encounters between artists based in each organisation’s context. This practice of crossing paths creates time, relationship, and continuity between different geographies, practices, and artistic communities.

• Brussels — 4 to 10 May — Standing Ancestors, by Piny, as part of the Accompanied Artist programme and the European project DRIFT – Dance and Research in the Future Time (Wave #1). This research will be presented at the DRIFT Research Showcase in November at BIT Teatergarasjen (NO).
• Alcanena — 18 to 26 July — project by Vilma Pitrinaite, in residency at the Alviela Science Centre (Centro Ciência Viva do Alviela).
