Filipe Pereira was the artist invited by Materiais Diversos to lead Clube das Flores, which took place between February and June 2026 in Minde and Alcanena.

In the second half of 2026, the Audience Club returns in a new format, bringing together performances programmed by Cine-Teatro São Pedro and Materiais Diversos. After each performance, the Audience Club comes together for a moment of conversation, sharing and collective reflection around the experiences, questions and concerns raised by the works. This new format of the Audience Club will be moderated by Nuno Preto. Registrations open!

Matéria Viva is Materiais Diversos’ new programme, developed in partnership with Alkantara (Lisbon) and O Espaço do Tempo (Montemor-o-Novo), with the support of Fundação GDA.

Matéria Viva is a training, mentoring and capacity-building programme aimed at performer-creators and emerging cultural practitioners working in contemporary performing arts and their more hybrid expansions. Conceived as a space of care, exchange and critical thinking, the programme seeks to strengthen the autonomy of those at the beginning of their professional journeys, providing practical tools to help make their artistic practices more sustainable, structured and resilient over time.

The third gathering, taking place within the framework of Alkantara Festival, focuses on artistic circulation, exploring festivals as strategic infrastructures for visibility, value creation, a fairer distribution of resources, and sustainable international cooperation.

The European project DRIFT – Dance and Research In the Future Time is a programme dedicated to research, support and artistic development for mid-career choreographic and interdisciplinary artists. It is led by an international consortium of festivals and cultural institutions, of which Materiais Diversos is a partner.
